Small window A/C units need filter cleaning peridically, but the inside will also need some help from time to time. When they start spewing water, either on the outside or inside, it's time. Turn unit off. Take garden hose & tweezers - use them underneath to pull out obstructions, hose to flush things. Don't use to much pressure to damage fins! I do this for about 15 minutes.
